About the Item

The Double Glow Worm industrial modern double wall sconce boasts two of our patented industrial light modules to create a warm and moody glow to illuminate your industrial decor, light a hallway, of use on either side of your front door. Use this industrial wall sconce in indoor or covered outdoor settings to set the mood of your industrial style. Designed by David Rozek, manufactured at his Pandemic Design Studio location outside of Philadelphia, PA. Patented in The US and Foreign Countries. We have taken the idea of the pipe fitting industrial light to the next level and are proud to offer a peerless example of modern industrial lighting both in quality, design integrity, and sophistication to complement your industrial decor and complete your modern industrial interior design. Patented Light Modules include six evenly spaced supporting rods which house a glass tube to protect the Edison Style light bulb from dust and the elements. Enjoy the touch activated capabilities and cycle through the three light settings: low, medium, high, and off. The desk lamp body is made from galvanized pipe fitting of various sizes and shapes with machined proprietary components. 16" Tall, includes a 6' black cord. The Inspiration: The Industrial Evolution Lighting Collection is an imaginative and dark projection of a post apocalyptic future where the human species has lost control over what it had previously manufactured. The products of industry that were formally used as vital pieces in the construction of the human’s built environment are now alive and have begun to assemble, grow, and think independently from their original creator. Evolution is rapidly taking place. Fruit or larva is present, indicating that they are now capable of reproducing. Bioluminescent features activated only in response to human touch have been discovered. Although a strong exoskeleton is apparent in all forms, cantilevered limbs and extensions suggest the presence of either a rooted substructure and vehicle to acquire sustenance or an additional internal structural or balancing system. The Commercial Series The Commercial Series subcategory of The Industrial Evolution Collection is populated only by life forms whose bioluminescent capabilities have evolved using the same patented illumination module in their biological makeup. Our researchers have discovered different variations in orientation of the module among know life forms and expect that more variations exist that will be discovered over time. Materials: Galvanized steel pipe fittings (various sizes) Vintage Edison style T-9 Beacon tube bulb. Commercially available Features: 3 phase touch dimmer standard. Wiring options: The sconce comes standard with a touch sensitive light control for three settings, low, medium, and high built in to the unit with ample length of connection wire to box. Simply touch any metal part of the lamp an it will illuminate. The sconce can be hard wired with the built in dimmer to a wall switch which would only control whether there was power or not. The touch dimmer would still be the way to cycle through the settings. Another option is to disregard the built in touch dimmer and cord and hard wire it into an electrical system with a wall dimmer. Sconces will flush mount and fit comfortably on a commercially available electrical box located inside or outside of the wall cavity. Specifications: 5 in. (L), 5 in. (W), 35 in (H) For indoor or covered outdoor use only. Relamping: To replace a bulb simply 1. Unscrew the light housing (counter clockwise) while supporting the base of it 2. Set the housing down somewhere safe 3. Unscrew the bulb 4. Screw in a new bulb 5. Screw the housing back on (clockwise) Style: Double Wall Sconce Lead time: Estimated 2 weeks.
