About the Item
Beautiful set of three sconces attributed to Maison Baguès, produced in Paris, France at the beginning of the century showing the quality and craftsmanship of the prestigious French house. The crystal leaves delicately set in gold metal, two spikes of crystal beads sprout from the center where a beautiful central flower with cut crystal petals crowns. Towards each side two golden metal stems sprout, perfectly accompanied by the original equally golden textile wiring that runs through its elegant shape to illuminate the room with two false-candle supports, with metal leaf details on the support and a cut glass cover on the base. All a work by hand that highlights the exquisite 19th century French taste for luxury items and that fortunately can accompany our home to this day.
