About the Item
Elegant pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s, defined by a refined and modern design that combines clean geometry with subtle decorative details. Each sconce is composed of a circular brass wall plate (10cm) from which a black lacquered metal arm gently extends, creating a soft, angular movement that gives the piece a light and dynamic presence on the wall. The arm supports a spherical opaline glass shade, held in a small brass cup that introduces a warm contrast to the darker structure. The dialogue between the round backplate, the slightly articulated arm and the perfectly balanced glass globe results in a harmonious silhouette that feels both modern and timeless.
The sconces are fitted with standard E14 bulb sockets; they are suitable for Europe and can also be used in the USA and Canada with the appropriate bulbs .
When illuminated, the opaline glass diffuses a soft, even light; when unlit, it appears crisp and opaque, highlighting the purity of the form.
