Pair of 1950s Mauri Almari Model #EY60 Brass Glass Double Sconces for Itsu. A rare and elegant design executed in sculptural perforated brass and opaline glass. Unmarked. A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the refined work of Mauri Almari has made him an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer by collectors. Price is for the pair. Each lamp accommodates 1x 60W equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulb. LED only. Professionally rewired for US electrical with custom period-style brass backplate added for mounting over a standard US j-box. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor for additional fee. Contact us to facilitate. Wear consistent with age and use. Some age appropriate scuffs, bends, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note only one representative example appears in the photos, but both lamps in comparable good condition and present well as a pair. More images available upon request.
