About the Item
This elegant pair is in the style of the First Empire. Each is cast with palmettes, acanthus, garlands and an oval frame containing a blue bisque figure of a dancing maiden. The frame and sconces are partially ebonised giving a very Empirish feel. The quality of the casting is crisp and hand finished, the general quality is well above average.
