About the Item
This pair of French lamps is stunning. The first wall lamp is shaped like a beautiful peasant woman. The artistic design is unparalleled. Her face is delicately carved, and you will feel as if she is smiling at you. The delicate dress hugs her body. This lamp is crowned by a beautiful original Art Nouveau glass. The second lamp depicts a sailor. The design is unmistakably masculine; he holds a lifebuoy in his strong hands. His facial features are strong and determined. He gazes into the distance, out to sea. He is ready to save lives. The backs of the lamps are signed, but the signatures are illegible. This pair of lamps is a truly unique piece. After an extensive search for new art objects, I finally found them.

- Condition:Repaired: Some parts have been professionally reassembled, and the bronze plating has been partially reworked and repaired. One of the farmer s wife s fingers is missing. There is minor damage to the original ceramic lamp holder in a hidden area. Refinished. Rewoven. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. The lamp has been expertly restored without damaging its antique charm. Partially retouched bronze finish.
