A remarkable pair of French 19th century Charles X style ormolu sconces. Each four-arm sconce is center centered by a richly chased back plate with beautiful scrolled foliate designs and centered by a charming finely detailed foo dog. The fluted elegantly scrolled supports are adorned with impressive foliate designs in a rich satin and burnished finish leading to charming floral candle cups. All original gilt throughout.
