An extremely elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu sconces. Each three arm sconce is centered by a finely detailed bottom acorn finial below the elegant tapered fluted body and striking block rosette from where a charming and wonderfully executed tied ribbon extends upwards. The three beautiful lightly curved arms display a fine fluted design adorned with richly chased acanthus leaves leading to beaded bobeches with foliate designs and floral candle cups.
