About the Item
A pair of French early 20th century Louis XVI or neoclassical style gilt bronze and brass sconces. Wall lights have been electrified later. Richly decorated with bronze details, like flowers, acanthus leaves, royal French lily, fleur-de-lis, and symbols. The sconces are signed on the backside.
Each sconce has two brass arms and each arm has a socket for an E 14 size light bulb and a new candle sleeve.
Dimensions: height: 34 cm / 13.38 in; width: 25 cm / 9.84 in; depth: 13 cm / 5.12 in.
The light fixtures are in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest they are tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
