Pair of French Midcentury plaster sconces in the form of sea shells by legendary designer, Serge Roche. The sconces have a rare other -worldly sensibility and are reflective of Roche's talent which was able to draw from nature, the surreal and the Neo-Baroque. Roche often collaborated with Jean Michel Frank and Maison Jansen for their design collections. Artistically, he created the fabulous sets for Jean Cocteau’s film: The Beauty and the Beast which brought critical acclaim world-wide. 2 Pairs are available; pieces are Priced and Sold as a Pair.
