Stunning pair of Mid-Century French Riviera wall lamps fully made in curved rattan and hand-woven wicker. These fantastic lamps were produced in the 1960s in France and are attributed to Louis Sognot.
These lovely sconces are in amazing conditions and with a beautiful honey color. Two pair are available, price is per pair.
The spherical lampshades are made in curved rattan, the round base of the lamps is connected to the shade by a curved cane arm, enriched with beautiful decorations in hand-woven wicker and curved rattan.
An incredibly unique and charming pair of organic wall lamps, a must have for all the French Riviera style lovers.
The lamps can be wired under request.

Louis Sognot was a French designer best known for his elegant furniture made from a combination of rattan and wood. Sognot was influenced by Art Deco and Cubist aesthetics, giving his work a unique stylistic touch while still being usable. Born on May 25, 1892 in Paris, France, Sognot studied at École Bernard-Pablissy before working as a designer at the Au Printemps department store in Paris in 1919. The designer became a founding member of the Union des Artistes Decoroteurs. He died in 1970 in Paris, France.
