About the Item

A Fine Pair of Gilt-Bronze Three-Light Wall Appliques. Each with a scrolling foliate back-plate surmounted by a shell issuing scrolling acanthus branches. The backplate is centred by a bearded mask issuing three scrolling foliate arms, each terminating with an acanthus-cast circular drip-pan and nozzle. French, Circa 1890.
