About the Item

An impressive and finely carved pair of Italian 18th century Baroque st. Bras de Lumières. The pierced back plate is decorated with scrolled acanthus leaves and foliate centered by a large acanthus leaf top crown. At the base is a protruding arm that holds the spiked torch where a candle may be placed. All original gilt throughout.
