About the Item
A pair of 1970s Italian Murano glass sconces, shaped like stylized shells. Each is cast in thick pulegoso glass—alive with suspended bubbles and edged in soft scallops. A polished brass backplate sits just behind the glass, casting warm, golden light that filters through in flecks. When lit, they glow with a diffused amber warmth.
Atmospheric by design—ideal for flanking a fireplace, illuminating a hallway, or lending softness to a tiled bath.
Condition: Great vintage condition. The polished brass backplates have light patina and faint surface wear consistent with age. These sconces have been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists. Accepts one E26 light bulb each.
