Anonymous Early 20th century; European Bronze and wood Approximate size: 24 (h) x 14.5 (w) x 10.25 (d) inches The present pair of handsome sconces are the perfect addition to a mood-driven library, office or study. Burnished bronze shades, with an open-work border treatment, cover a pair of candlestick lights set upon wooden cups and bronze armatures that terminate against their arched-wood and filleted backing in eloquent scroll-like fashion. A maker’s mark or that of a previous owner are engraved into each backing: Y R Condition: commensurate with age. Note: wiring is not yet inspected. Professional installation recommended. Currently ships from our storehouse in Italy.
