About the Item

A pair of large and impressive original sconces crafted from ribbed glass with elegant brass and copper mounts. Each sconce features demi-lune, fluted glass panels that stand proudly like half-columns, set within brass frames adorned with a classic Greek key motif. The sides are accented with warm copper details. The tops are open to allow heat to escape-though there may have originally been glass coverings, (which we can custom provide for an additional $100 per each single sconce if desired). The bottoms are closed, and each sconce is fitted with a side hinge and secured with two small ball closures. Holds two sockets in each sconce that can hold either LED or incandescent Edison bulbs. Multi purposed and can be used as a bathroom light, side lights for a mirror, yacht, hotel lobby, entrance, bath, fireplace, mantle, bedroom, dining room, living room and/ or column walls. Skyscraper, enclosed porchlight, lamp, Art Deco.

Wear consistent with age and use. In good condition with some very minor, tiny nics, flecs, imperfections along edges, under mounts and invisible from outside. Original brass and copper with some mottling of finish, commensurate with age and use.
