About the Item
A pair of Louis XVI style French carved giltwood fruit basket two-light sconces. Large sculptural baskets overflowing with persimmons, pomegranates, clusters of grapes, leaves, figs and flowers. Beautiful bright gilded finish is in excellent condition. Each with two metal arms with tole leaves and candle cups. Original wood candle sockets and painted wood candle covers. In working condition with adapters to convert the European sockets. Please refer to photos for more details. We have a large selection of French antiques at Olivier Fleury, Inc.
