Heavy mid-century bronze sunburst fixtures that can be used as sculptural wall sconces or compact flush mount ceiling lights—rewired, E27-ready, and ideal for Hollywood Regency, Italian mid-century, or eclectic interiors.
This striking pair of mid-century bronze sunburst fixtures is exceptionally weighty. Designed with a flat backplate and central E27 lampholder, they can function either as wall sconces or as small flush-mount ceiling lights, offering flexibility in placement and scale.
The aesthetic aligns with the 1950s–60s European sunburst tradition, associated with Italian and German makers who produced gilt-metal and bronze decorative lighting. Their craftsmanship and sculptural mass relate closely to pieces by Italian Florentine firms such as Banci Firenze, as well as to the warm metalwork and stylized botanical forms favored by Hans Kögl in Germany.
The weight, casting detail, and finish all indicate high-quality mid-century production rather than later reproductions.
Both pieces have been rewired at some point and accept standard E27 bulbs (LED or incandescent, up to 60 W or equivalent). They make beautiful accents in Hollywood Regency, mid-century modern, eclectic, Brutalist, or Italianate interiors, adding warm sculptural presence whether lit or unlit.
