About the Item
Pair of rare elegant well sized wallights Model 579 designed by the well known designer Oscar Torlasco and produced by Lumi. They have one reflector in brass per wallight with pierced holes to reflect light and the other two reflectors have bronzed lacquered surrounds and opaque glass. When illuminated the pierced brass shades throw beautiful patterns on the wall.They are mounted on the wall with brass backplates.

Oscar Torlasco was born in Rome, Italy, in 1934. Torlasco designed many beautiful lamps. The most well known are the lamps he designed for Lumi. He designed for several Italian lighting manufacturers, including Esperia, Stilux, Lamperti and Stilkronen. Most of his designs are from the 1950s and 60s
