About the Item

An elegant pair of Mod. 1938 rectangular glass wall lights designed by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, c.1950. When illuminated, the gently curved, moulded glass diffusers disperse the light evenly, producing a soft, atmospheric glow whilst accentuating the depth and clarity of the material. The patinated brass metal mounting remains visually understated, allowing the sculptural glass form to dominate. This model can also be ceiling mounted and used as a plafonier - timeless lighting design from this prestigious Milanese company.
