About the Item

This exquisite pair of wall lights was designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and produced by his own company in Markaryd, Sweden during the 1960s. Exemplifying Jakobsson's commitment to refined craftsmanship and elegant simplicity, the fixtures feature polished brass bases with characteristic triangular perforations, a distinctive detail frequently found in his designs. Each lamp features a hand-blown opaline glass shade nestled within cylindrical brass holders on simple brass bridges, balancing geometric precision with organic warmth. A timeless pair of mid-century Scandinavian wall lights, perfect for elevating interiors with a blend of artisanal detail and atmospheric glow. Single E14 socket-type, adapted for the US. 25-40w max bulb recommended.
