About the Item
This striking Pair of Modernist Murano Obelisk Sconces in Pearlescent Glass with 24-Karat White Gold originates from Italy during the 21st Century. Features a primary obelisk in the center of the sconce made of hand-blown Murano Glass with a semi-transparent smoked quality and 24Karat White Gold Flecks dispersed within the body of the glass. The bottom of the sconce is fitted with a drop of similar form but smaller scale of the top obelisk detail, in between housed with a square glass fitting that supports a reverse domed shade in a lovely pearlescent glass, also with 24Karat White Gold Flecks dispersed within. Diffusing the light of the bulbs well and reflecting upwards to illuminate the obelisk, these sconces are beautifully designed and have a bold presence. Styling well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. These are newly rewired to American Standards and in Excellent Condition.
