Pair of neoclassical style gilt bronze sconces French, 19th century Measures: Height 46cm, width 33cm, depth 23cm This pair of gilt bronze scones is a fine example of the Louis XVI style. Each scone supports three light branches, each branch applied with Fine foliate detailing. The backplate of each is distinctly Neoclassical in design: the urn-form surmount of each, for instance, is a staple of Neoclassicism.
