About the Item
A wonderful pair of tin wall sconce with embossed pewter back-plates, originally formed by pouring melted pewter over cut and polished glass. Late 18th - early 19th century.
Designed and manufactured by hand in the workshop of Richard Scofield.
They retain the original mounting plates for easy installation.
These are also currently being produced and Retail at over $1,500 per sconce.
These items can be viewed in person at the Berkshire Galleries of Great Barrington Massachusetts.
