About the Item

A pair of huge Giltwood carved torchiere wall lights with opaque glass flame shades. Converted for electric, finished very well with bronze mounted shade holders. The large torchiere supported by an ebonized hand from a drapery carved mounted wall bracket. French 19th century. Worn and warm patina, very good scale and form. Glass shade can be replaced with silk shade if desired.
