This pair of wall sconces was designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and produced by Høvik Verk, Norway. They are made of solid brass and topped with smoked glass, offering an elegant aesthetic and softened lighting. The clean design and quality of materials reflect the craftsmanship of the Swedish designer, whose lighting production in the 1950s–1970s brought him fame. Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
