About the Item
A refined Murano milk glass sconce, crafted in Italy in the second half of the 20th century. The light fixture is composed of white blown glass with a delicate crackle texture, a process that lends material depth and an elegant luminous effect, typical of the Murano tradition.
The elongated, sculptural shape is enhanced by a geometric black metal frame, which envelops the glass with clean, structural lines, creating a refined contrast between the organic softness of the glass and the graphic rigor of the metal structure. The tapered lower element accentuates the verticality of the sconce, making it a focal point with a strong decorative impact.
Once turned on, the sconce diffuses a warm, enveloping light, filtered by the milk glass, ideal for creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for residential and commercial spaces, such as entryways, hallways, living rooms, or bedrooms, in both modern and more classic settings.

Mid-Century Shamrock Murano pendant. Model Cascata byy Carlo Nason for Mazzega, Italy 1960s Rare green color. For the Cascata (Italian for “waterfall”), which debuted in the 1960s, Nason achieved the effect of cascading water through an inverted pyramid of hanging glass plates, each individually mouth-blown and suspended from a chrome-plated frame for a dazzling, Art Deco–styled display. Lit from behind, the plates have a glittering, iridescent quality.
