About the Item
A fine diminutive pair of vintage late 1920’s French gilded bronze wall sconces in the Napoleon III-style having frosted glass rose petal shades. The round back plates with laurel leaves, the arms with tendrils and flower heads, indicative of the Napoleon III period.

- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: New French sockets with clips for shades had been added at some time before I acquired them. I added screw in American socket adapters converting the French socket to American standard chandelier bulb socket. Wear consistent with age and use. They are in good vintage condition and are fully electrically functional.
