About the Item
A set of six contemporary Italian wall sconces defined by their sculptural use of brass and glass, designed as vertical light elements with a strong architectural presence. Each fixture is composed of three gently curved brass strips, finished in a soft satin gold tone and arranged to create a rhythmic, wave-like profile against the wall.
Between the brass elements, clear glass rods are set in parallel alignment, allowing light to refract and diffuse across the surface. Integrated LED modules illuminate the glass internally, producing a layered effect that balances warm metallic tones with crisp transparency. The result is a refined interplay of material, depth, and light rather than overt ornament.
Each sconce is designed for hardwired installation and mounts via a circular backplate measuring approximately 13 cm in diameter, concealing wiring and providing a clean wall interface. The full fixture measures approximately 73 cm in height with a projection of 26.5 cm; each brass strip measures approximately 2 cm in width.
Manufactured in Italy and produced by Baroncelli as part of the Flexus Fosco series, the design reflects a contemporary Italian approach to decorative lighting, where repetition and material contrast are central to the visual language.
Condition is good, with light surface wear consistent with careful use. All fittings are present, and the integrated LED modules are intact and functional.
