A set of three bronze wall sconces, made and sourced in France, dating from the 1960s—a period when Hollywood Regency interiors embraced the refined elegance of Neoclassical design. Each sconce features twin candle arms with graceful symmetry, acanthus leaf detailing, and a rich gilt bronze finish that enhances their timeless appeal.
Expertly cast with crisp ornamentation, the sconces bear the markings “Mod. Dep.” (indicating a registered model) and “Bronze” on the reverse (see photo). While the maker remains unknown, the craftsmanship reflects the quality and precision of mid-century French decorative arts.
The sconces have been adapted for electrical use, with the wiring discreetly hidden within the structure—a clever design that preserves their classical form. They may also be used as traditional candle holders, depending on the preferred ambiance.
The sconces are sold as a set of three, without current electric wiring, allowing them to be easily adapted to local electrical standards.
A matching set of three is especially rare, making this ensemble ideal for a symmetrical decorative scheme in an elegant hallway, dining room, or formal living space.

In good vintage condition. The sconces have not been polished, I leave that decision up to the new owner. Signs of wear consistent with age. The color/finish varies slightly for each piece due to oxidizing (please see photos).
