About the Item

This set of two 1940s Italian Art Deco wall sconces is a beautiful and sculptural representation of the era's craftsmanship and dramatic aesthetic. These sconces are crafted from rich, warm-toned wood paired with frosted glass shades. The natural grain of the wood adds warmth and character. The standout feature is the carved wooden hand design. Each hand holds a wooden torch-style mount, giving the illusion of a hand gripping a flame — a bold and symbolic motif reminiscent of liberty or enlightenment. The frosted glass shades are shaped like stylized flames, enhancing the torch illusion and diffusing light with a soft, ambient glow.
