This set of two modernist lights was produced in Austria in the 1950s. It is made from heavy crystal glass with a abstract patterned structured surface and a metal wall fixation. The lights have a fantastic abstract and Brutalist glass surface optic, very rare and unique design item of the 1950s. the huge 29cm glass element gets screwed on to the metal wall fixation with brass element with ball elements. Each of this wonderful and rare lights has one socket for e 27 bulbs. The lights create of fantastic atmosphere of defused light.
The lights remain in a good all original vintage condition with surface patina and slight traces of use. The light is a full working condition. on one glass element around the fixation hole the glass has little glass imperfections which are almost totally covered with the screw element is inside, please see images.
