About the Item

Lovely clear glass wall light designed by Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg. A design Classic, the clear colored or toned of the hand blown glass gives a wonderful and bright glow. Illuminates really beautifully. Heavy quality and in excellent vintage condition. Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use. This light requires one single E27 screw fit light bulb (60 Watt max). Please notice the price is for 1 piece, 7 pieces available. Dimensions: Height: 7.78" (20 cm) Width: 5.12" (13 cm) Depth: 3.94" (10 cm) Helena Tynell is a finish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the school of the arts in Helsinki, circa 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the finish glass company Riihimäki Lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960, m (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. She has worked as a freelance designer for Flygsfors glassworks, BEGA Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg and Fostoria glass.
