About the Item

This is a sweet brass sconce in the simply elegant art nouveau style. It has the traditional urn top where the arms meet the wall plate, a fantastic star/flower shape in the curve of the arm and the brass has warm aged patina. The sockets have left over floral clay and must have been used for some sort of display but it was electrified at one time and can easily be converted back (I will do it for you at a nominal charge.). The sconce is 10 inches wide from the outside of the bobeches, 6.5 inches high from the top of the candle holders to the bottom of the curve of the arm and are 7 inches deep to the outside of the bobeches. They are in good condition.
