Rustic and substantial, this large handmade wooden sconce with a rattan lampshade, which was crafted from solid pine by Smålandsslöjd, Sweden, and designed by Stig Johnson — a celebrated artisan known for his lamps, distinctive bowls, candlesticks, and other decorative yet practical items made from heavy wood. This example features a gracefully proportioned arm, with a form that is simple, honest, and deeply rooted in Scandinavian design traditions.
