About the Item

This set of two wall sconces is a stunning example of Barovier-style Mid-Century Modern design from the 1990s. Strongly inspired by the iconic Murano glass traditions, particularly reminiscent of the elegance and craftsmanship associated with Barovier Toso. Each sconce features a combination of high-quality Murano glass and brass, the shades are crafted from clear, ribbed Murano glass with a subtle golden tint. Their fluted design gives them a tulip-like shape that diffuses light beautifully and adds a luxurious texture. The base is a polished solid brass oval plate with a square arm and a decorative brass sphere at the bottom, offering a warm contrast to the glass and contributing to the overall vintage appeal. It's Mid-Century Modern style with a touch of Art Deco elegance, clean lines, geometric forms, and opulent materials.
