A beautifully preserved pair of mid-century wall sconces designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for the iconic Swedish lighting manufacturer IFÖ. These refined fixtures exemplify Jakobsson’s minimal yet warm approach to Scandinavian lighting, featuring pale yellow porcelain bases paired with hand-blown opal glass globes that emit a gentle, ambient glow.
Ideal for use in bathrooms, hallways, or as bedside lights, these sconces bring a timeless modernist aesthetic to any interior. The combination of functional simplicity and tactile materials makes them a quintessential example of 1960s Nordic design sensibility.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
