This impressive piece features PoliArte’s signature composition of hand-cut glass blocks arranged in a geometric relief pattern. The combination of clear, amber, and honey-toned glass elements creates a dynamic interplay of color and texture, especially when illuminated. The thick, cast-glass forms are set upon a sturdy metal frame, showcasing the artisanal craftsmanship and bold modernist sensibility that defined PoliArte’s work.
Inside the fixture are three light sources, which evenly illuminate the textured glass structure and enhance its depth and tonal variation.
PoliArte, founded by Albano Poli in Verona in 1968, was celebrated for its innovative manipulation of glass and light.
