Late 19th Century Eastlake Style Gilt Bronze Eight Light Chandelier
Located in Chicago, IL
This late nineteenth-century gilt bronze and brass Eastlake-style chandelier has four lights, etched glass shades, and foliate scroll details. Eastlake published his thoughts on design reform. The movement centered on the ethos that furniture in people's homes should be attractive, well-made, and produced by manufacturers who took pride in their work. Eastlake antique...
