A collaboration between French sculptor Henri Dieupart and the Simonet Frères, the lamp features a substantial glass globe adorned with swirling relief patterns that catch the light, embodying the Art Déco ethos of modern materials and forms. Its upper structure features a sleek metal fixture with two bulb sockets. Signed by both Dieupart (1888-1980) and Simonet Frères under the base. Dating to around 1925, this French creation retains its original glass clarity, while the metal has developed a patina over time. The piece perfectly encapsulates Art Déco’s commitment to bold design and refined craftsmanship.
