Set of two 1920sArt Nouveau hand-crafted table lamps by Georg Thylstrup for P. Ipsens Enke
The hand-crafted art nouveau table lamps were designed by Georg Thylstrup in 1927 and feature two craws sitting on a branch.
One of the table lamps is in very good vintage condition and the other has a few small dents at the back of the lamp that are hard to see..
Height messurements are to the top of the lampshade holder and the lampshade is not included in the listing.
P. Ipsens Enke (1843 - 1955) was a very succesfull Danish company that especially during the first part of the 1900´s managed to attract several leading names in Danish design who worked for the manufactorer who over the years exportet their pieces to many countries.
Over the years, Ipsens Enke creations acquired 56 first-class international prizes and are represented in many public institutions among them Neue Pinakothek in Munich, the National Museum in Stockholm, the Los Angeles Museum in California, Cleveland and the Brooklyn Museums, the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh, the National Museum of Finland in Helsinki, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, Les Amis des Musees de la ville de Mons, Brussels, the National Arts Club in New York and the Latvian National History Museum in Riga.
