Collectible: Minimalist design classic from the 1960s-70s: Table lamp/Piano lamp by the company Leclaire
Schäfer, Neheim, West Germany, Type 5923/1Simple desk lamp in Bauhaus design with a heavy metal base and extensive adjustment options. The cuboid lamp head is made of black painted metal sheet with perforation on the top and a frosted glass panel on the bottom, ensuring glare-free light. The lamp head is connected to the nickel-plated arm via a ball joint. The arm is flexibly attached to the shaft and the heavy base with a disc joint, allowing it to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. The small lamp features an E14 metal socket and is switched on and off via a cord switch on the cable. The lamp is very solidly constructed and is in good, functional condition with minor signs of aging. The diffuser is slightly warped on the sides due to heat exposure - see photos - therefore, I recommend using LED bulbs, which do not heat up as much (bulb included). There is some blue paint at the bottom end of the power cord. Otherwise, in very good condition.
