About the Item

An elegant 1970s German brown tinted domed glass and brass table lamp. Manufactured by Süssmuth Leuchten. A rare table lamp made from thick heavy polished glass. The matching glass base has a polished brass bulb holder which the hemispherical domed shade screws on top of and is held in place. A matching brass circular plate fits below the screw to complete the overall look. In very good vintage condition. Sadly there is a small chip to the inside of the shade as shown in the images. Two Edison E14 lightbulbs are required which are positioned on either side of the lamp allowing the light to cast evenly throughout the shade. The lighting has been checked by an electrician and is in full working order. The original manufacturer's label is on the underside of the brass base.
