About the Item

A striking 1970s sculptural table lamp attributed to Modeline of California, featuring three vertical oak columns arranged in a bold, architectural composition. Each column is topped with its original smoked-glass globe shade. Modeline was known for its innovative use of solid wood, sculptural geometry, and multi-bulb designs—this lamp is an excellent example of their California modern aesthetic. The oak body displays beautiful grain, balanced on a circular oak base. The lamp retains its original wiring, along with an integrated rotary dimmer switch that allows adjustable light levels and enhances its warm glow. This piece stands as both a functional light and a sculptural object. Excellent vintage condition. Oak body shows minimal wear with a beautifully preserved finish. Smoked-glass globes are clean with no cracks (minor surface wear typical of age). Ready for immediate use.
