A small and elegant pair of spherical pink marble table lamps, to be attributed, France 1960.
2 small but massive pink marble spheres are forming the 2 lamps bodies, showing subtle marble patterns, covered by a smooth varnish, with patinated bronze/brass vertical tubes elevating and holding the bulb sockets surrounded by simple conical shades.
The shades can be replaced by different size
shapes shades, on demand.
These luxurious pieces of lamps are simple and discrete, remembering some Italian creations, but are definitively French, late post-war chic art-deco productions revealing an early modernist inspiration.
Dimensions : H 30.5 x D 25 cm each (with shade in pictures).
