This 20th-century handcrafted terracotta table lamp was originally formed as a traditional harvest jar — a vessel once used for storing grains, oil, or olives across the Mediterranean. Its wide-shouldered silhouette and natural clay body retain the quiet strength of its utilitarian origins, while the conversion into a table lamp brings new life to its sculptural form.
The surface displays a warm range of earthen tones — from sun-baked ochre to soft clay beige — with natural textural variations created by hand-throwing and open-kiln firing.
