About the Item

Extremely heavy polychromed plaster molded lamp. Seems like a baked on type enamel. Very much in the Italian Bitossi style. We assume these were produced in the US, however, the mold or lamp body may have been created/designed in Italy. This lamp was procured from a time capsule in Oxon Hill Maryland and retains its original lampshade, which is included. It has a three stage switch, in working order with a good original cord. There are some chips to the lamp body yellow painted finish, and some flaking to the brown metal painted lamp base.
