Rare Albina table lamp by Giuliana Gramigna for Italian manufacturer Quattrifolio.
Minimalist lamp with a lamp holder that is incorporated into the design in a subtle and ingenious way. This model was released simultaneously with the considerably larger 'Alba'.
Both pieces are described in Gramigna's own 'Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000' on Page 307 (1981) and can also be found in 'Italian Modern - A design Heritage' by Giovanni Albera and Nicolas Monti on Page 111.
