Ambient Ceiling Lamps in Onyx

We have been very grateful to visit two workshops where the stones are sliced, cut, carved, or otherwise shaped into their final forms. Watching these artisans covered in thick layers of dust, handling these blocks of stone was truly fascinating. A Word About the Onyx Lamps An onyx lamp is intrinsically beautiful. But when the light comes on, words cannot describe the magic. Pictures cannot capture its beauty. In our journey to find another exciting lighting product, we could not have found lamps that are more contrasting to the Mouille lamps. The onyx lamp is translucent and colorful, heavy, centered and stable, the perfect ambient lamp. The Mouille lamp on the other hand is elongated, thin, elegant, either black or white, weighs less than a feather and diffuses a bright functional light. Yet, they are both organic, eye-catching, gorgeous, and timeless. In fact, they complement each other very well.
