About the Item

A table lamp. In finely turned reclaimed oak in a classic form. Designed and produced by an unknown studio craftsman who signed THP. Made in 1977. Beautiful patina to the wood and brass. Has remnants of its past life with old nail holes and one nail remaining in the lamp smooth to the touch. Does not include shade or harp. One lightbulb on a medium socket. No stated max wattage. Other noted designers of the period include Florence Knoll, Isamu Noguchi, Jens Risom, Harvey Probber, and Paul Frankl.
